Faulty G-Tech ev Series Reader RED MINI - MAG

Hey Guys, this is my first post on Reduser. I've been checking regularly whilst waiting for my Raven. I have my Raven now and was having issues downloading the Red MINI MAGs. I have a 240GB and a 120GB, they weren't mounting on several computers that I tried, the 240GB would mount on my older Mac Pro but took a long time to offload, thinking it was my 120GB MINI MAG that was faulty RED kindly sent me a new one very quickly via a RMA. I still couldn't mount the brand new 120GB MINI MAG on any computer. Luckily there is another Weapon owner in town that kindly let me test his Red MINI MAG reader and G Tech MINI MAG reader. Luckily it was only my G Tech MINI MAG reader that is faulty, not the RED MINI MAGS or the RAVEN itself.
Anyways, I've ordered a new RED MINI MAG reader and will get my GTEch reader replaced from B&H. Nothing against G-Tech, they make amazing products and have 3 of their RAID hard drives and will buy again. I just got a faulty reader and was found it really frustrating not knowing what the problem was. I searched Reduser to see if anyone else was experiencing issues. So I thought I'd let the community know just in case - cheers!

my g-tech has been solid so far. ive been offloading 512 mini mags on it from a weapon magnesium for 4-5 months.

Thanks for sharing. I havent had any issues with the two I have owned for the last 4 months. I use them inside the G-Shuttles

The brand new reader stopped working after 20 minutes .... F.ck ...
Also check with SATA port ..
Dead ...
What can i do now?
