  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Fatal Flaw

I gotta hand it to the A-dog (amariah as he is known on-set) he really does seem to "get" lighting for post, somthing I think many many gaffers will have to learn in the years to come...lighting is one thing, lighting so your color time looks EXACTLY how you want....not an easy task, unless, your the color dude in post AND lighting dude on-set..

This was a really cool shoot as we had the freedom to pretty much enable our vision for the project creatively, something that'ss harder to do in the commercial world.

I agree, and i suspect the "commercial world" will come knockin.......probably kick your door down when they see the results of your vision. The screen grabs are awesome in their own right and i feel privileged to have witnessed this moment.Beautiful stuff.

Amazing stuff.
You were my benchmark with Hvx + 35adaptor back on Dvxuser when you were showing your first mobyjokes and now the same with Red. You really raise the bar.

Just made a custom bracket for the Cavision FF so now it turns the correct direction with Nikon glass..whoo hoooo!!

Guys wana hear the story about how my red almost got stolen and my Audi S4 on Sat?

check this thing out...pretty rough, made it with a hammer and a vice...but it works well..

the grey "C" bar is the part I made. :)

maybe we should do a "RED" mobijoke for old times sake? :)

it was in the trunk of the car when car was taken and when found thank god.

They had about 5 min from the time I lost sight of them on the parking lot and my dad chased them down. In that time they dumped all contents of my car, including lenses...

a really short teaser clip will be up a few min....

I just watched that a million times. I can't wait. Congrats guys! You are pushing this image into new heights. This looks hyper-real, love the location, light, texture. Is this still graded in Redcine? Shot on your old Zeiss MKIIs? BBBBADASSSS

is that yummy or what! :) we are hyperediting so stoked on cutting this bad boy...today as been mostly dealing with the footage, getting all the stuff in proper scene folders and bins etc ....

I just love our bad guy, of course that is the character Amariah picked for a quick teaser...

red cine I think....
