Ha! Cool story! Sounds like some neat features are planned. I shot a brief timelapse here in Toronto the other day and it did look nice! For spur-of-the-moment time lapse ideas or situations where you want to be as innocuous as possible it could be really handy. Sadly I have an iPhone 4 rather than an iPhone 4S (I tend to carry a DSLR with me a lot anyway and generally it doesn't make life too complicated for me) so I'm not taking full advantage of the app. Thanks Nick. Please let me know what you think of it. It's also the BEST app in the App Store for Timelapse because you can lock focus, exposure and white balance (triple-tap screen) and set your desired time interval, then save all images to camera roll and use whatever app or PC/Mac program you want to create the time-lapse from the images.
We are working on an In-App purchase (99 cents) that will let you export 1080P 24fps video straight from the review screen. Considering each photo will be the full 8MP, those videos will be the best ever created on an iPhone.
Last night, I was out with my family and wanted a stranger to take a photo of us. But knowing how hard it is to get everyone smiling or looking at the camera at the same time (I have a 2 and 4 year old), I just set the 10 second timer, set interval to 1/2 second and handed my iPhone to the stranger and said "Just point it at us and don't touch anything!"
1 minute later I had 90 8MP images to choose from!

Jumping on it - thx!
Very cool, Michael. Thanks for the nice gift!!
I just tried it as a poor man's time-lapse and it worked. Fun!
Thanks Mark!
I think it could be THE go-to app for Timelapse because of the manual focus lock, exposure lock, white balance lock and the interval timer and ability to remove bad images from sequence before saving images to roll. The 99-cent in app-purchase for Video Export should be available in the next two weeks.

Haven't had a lot of time to experiment but it looks great from what I've seen. Thank you for the generosity !!
Very nice indeed!
Fantastic Michael! I downloaded is this morning as I saw it in the top free apps. And it works great! Thank you for making this, I've been looking for a full resolution timelapse app for my iPhone and believe this may do the trick. Having the ability to open an app and it snap away so you don't miss what you are trying to capture is just what the doctor ordered.
Wow wish you all the best MIchael. I love the app! Was playing with it this morning.
The download #'s are incredible. You should charge for this and you'll be a millionaire quick!
Very cool!
Cool !
