  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Fashion Video with Blurred Lines Jessi M'Bengue

Very tasteful, well done!

Mike BTS/specs on the high-frame rates please :)

Hmmm… Some cute tricks but the very hard light on her face and (failed makeup?) is not acceptable by fashion standards. A slash, fine, but sometimes her whole face is lit with direct, hard light and you can see every imperfection magnified - yikes.

Also, not sure who what this is for, but a fashion film by definition shows clothes in some way, or at least makeup.

If you want to do fashion learn what fashion is and how to light and post fashion - this is an art film, maybe, but fashion, no.

I like the vibe of the film..I think Rob raises a good point. She has pretty bad skin and the harsh direct light magnifies everything and creates tiny shadows that form because of her "blemishes". A good resolve artist can fix this.

wish it was that hot RED HEAD!!!!! I love her so pretty

Maybe, but better lighting will always be better. Every fix leaves artifacts behind, no matter how good, and usually will look "wrong" and fake.

"Only a bit" if you're lucky, "kinda" most of the time, "very" if Murphy rears his ugly head and Law upon your shot.

Like the shot at 0:25. Could have potentially been a shot of her silhouette in a "martini" glass, in true James Bond fashion.

Ok, this is not a Fashion video!
Why? Mostly because there is no fashion in it.

There is this wave of photographers that want to do video, that make this type of artsy, pin up, shorts that don't really have anything to do with fashion.
This is an insult to people that actually do work in fashion professionally. Design it and shoot it.

Why don't you just call it what it is, Implied nude female model video. lol

Thank you James - well said = 100% agree. I think a lot of people do not put in the work to understand fashion - they just want to shoot pretty girls. That's not even nearly good enough, and turns clients off fashion videos an option because they see so much clueless work.
