Hello,

I am looking for some fashion video's that will inspire me. So if you come across some, let me know here :)

Thanks!

Cheers!

Just me or does it seem most high fashion models are zombies in most videos. Creepy detachment from human emotional expression. Like they had some form of brain surgery that went south :-/

When I first got out of Business School one of my first jobs was as a Men's Suit tailor for Dillard's Department Store. I was thinking of going to Parson's School of Design and all of my rough sketches of models were as "Fashion Zombies.

Ha! My thing is, do these girls have to be so lifeless? I mean they are building silicone dolls with more human emotion and personality than these expressionless mannequins. Seriously . . .

Zeb,

You ever hear the expression in fashion "It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it!" My guess is that most clothing designers need their cloths to "Sell themselves". Sometimes an individual's "Personality" can make an article of clothing "appear" more desirable than the same article of clothing another Individual with a different personality. Ray Ban glasses on "James Dean" are going to look entirely different on some Regular "Joe Smoe". Designers just need their models to act as "human Coat Hangers"

If the off-center framing caused a reaction in you, then it was successful. It has you talking about it, does it not? A conventional framing would not have caused a reaction and would not have you promoting the video in your discussion of an element of the video.

Yeah. Nick taking a shit on that desk would also caused a reaction in me and get me talking about it. Not sure that's real deep reasoning there sprout ;-)
