  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Fantastic resource for BNC and HDMI cables...

I wouldn't recommend them for practical on-set use. I had about a thousand feet of assorted length moonrise HDSDI and it worked for a while, but I have since thrown all but a few 15ft cables out. They are not reliable enough for mission critical work and honestly when a client is asking why the picture keeps cutting out on a $100K production, it's simply not worth the savings of a few bucks on cheaper cables. I loved the cables for their flexibility, but they just don't hold up well enough for my kind of work unfortunately.

My thoughts exactly. Be careful where you 'save' money. A few cheap cables can cause enough trouble to keep a client from inviting you to the next big show. If you are a professional, use tools meant for professional use.
