Fan upgrade?

Has anyone installed the fan upgrade, and, if so, what can of improvement in noise is there over the old fan?

Does the new fan running at 100% sound like the old one running at 50% ... 20% ... 80%?

Also, If you upgrade fans now, will the new fans be compatible with a camera once it is upgraded to dragon?
