Fan stopped working - body heat indication

One of my client is on shooting location and there body is giving hot temperature indication and when they checked the fan is not working. Is there any solution to this problem?

Whether it can rectified by ourselves without sending the camera body to US since we are middle of shooting in India.

Try blowing the dust out!

Check if one of the 1/4"-20 bolts being used to hold the Red bottom plate to the body is a long rather than a short one! - apparently if it's too long it can push on the fan connector inside the base of the body and stop it working!

My fan stopped working at some point and it was probably because of the bolt. If you unscrew the threaded cover in the bottom you can check whether the plug got un-plugged. In my case one of the wires was cut and a simple soldering and gaffer's tape did the job.

It worked out by just having the camera in caravan for 30 minutes and blown out dust.
