On my CF Weapon I got a warning on my camera that said there was a fan drive error and upon inspection it seemed the tone of my fans was not spinning up. I took the battery off and packed it away so I could deal with it another time Put the battery on it this morning to investigate and now the camera is working just fine. Anybody alas see a similar problem?

I'm going to have to call support on Monday. But before then I wanted to get some ideas on how serious of an issue it may be.

Have the same problem.
The really same problem. Had to send my cam back to HQ with estimated time of 3-4 weeks.
It's a firmware problem which should be solved in an upcoming firmware.

PS: Lost cause of this a 200K gig for VW...very..."sad"

You probably could have rented a camera to get the job done, no?
