Fan control issue on weapon

After powering down my target temperature setting resets itself to 38 degrees. While it is not the end of the world it is slightly annoying and not good for sound recording or black shade. Am I doing something wrong?

If you change the temperature, you need to do a new black shade with that new temp. If you do that it'll turn on every time with your desired temp.

Despite re-blackshading the problem persists on my camera.

Have you tried saving any blackshades at different temperatures?

I think (hope) it's firmware related. I also have it (loosing presets) on some monitoring settings that resets after a reboot. I've assigned the desired preset on a soft key. So it's fast to get the right preset...

Hmm, sounds like something in the camera is amiss. Not a normal behavior. Have you tried reinstalling the firmware? I would also start saving log files in case you need to escalate this to support...

Thanks for the help guys. Reinstalled firmware to no avail. Other presets are being saved though so I feel like this may be a firmware related issue. The soft keys are a second best option, thanks Patrick.
