My weapon fans are super dirty, what's the best way to clean them?

im not sure how they went about it, but i know my AC's said they blew mine out with an air compressor after a few dusty days in the dessert.
they acted like it was typical procedure.

In the past i have removed the front fan used air, alcohol and swabs to get it cleaned up before reinstalling. Best to remove and do it away from the camera even if it's capped, etc. it's not too complicated, just remove all power, etc before you do any of this.

Had ad to do this a few times after filming in dust situations.

I'm talking about weapon though
