Is it possible to implement the false color tools from the camera to RC-X? I could see Gioscope and Edge focus mode being really useful to access in post.

I haven't seen those features available natively yet in RCX-Pro, but if you have a broadcast or on-camera monitor with those features, you could hook it up to your computer through HDMI or HD-SDI and send a video signal to it.

That might just work for you.

Thanks for the reply Burke. I'm not really interested in the false color tools on live recording, but as a way to check raw exposure and critical focus on footage after it's been captured. Hopefully this can get implemented soon. It seems like I'm not the only person interested in this feature.

And thank you for that heads up Kemalettin. I'll check that out!

Also, I've shot projects (usually music videos) and when the director sees the false color tools on my monitor they have asked that for that look as a lut. I don't know if that's possible but it would pretty cool if we could load in false color tools as Luts (especially edge focus). That's probably a much less needed feature but it would still be cool if we could have access to it!

+1
I was just thinking about how nice it would be to have False Color's Video Mode in RCX, so I can see how I exposed something I already shot and learn from that... without needing to put the file back on the Mag and into the camera.
