False Color request

I have been using False Color as a method to decide on the correct exposure ever since I had started using the Red.
Today we finished a two days commercial in which I have hanging the camera on remote cranes, far away from the reach of my hand.
I wish there was a way to use the False Color remotely.
Maybe in the Epic? Anyone?

What is the maximum length cable of the Red LCD, I was having a camera not on a motion picture crane only but also on 30 meter cranes.
Is there such long cable?

I get on my HP monitor false color without any problem.

The connection is standard HDSDI cable from 720p HDSDI preview out or 10080p HDSDI dual out to

AJA Hi5 G3 HDSDI to HDMI 1.3a converter than from there is the standard HDMI 1.3 cable to HP DreamColor monitor.

False color monitoring with HDSDI 720p preview on RED LCD, RED EVF and external HP Dreamcolor monitor.

The cables are standard HDSDI and HDMI that also can be extended at pretty long distance.

Probably now after his "edit" it's clear what he wanted.

In that case as we know it's possible to use EVF/LCD 10 ft/305 cm long cable or somebody could custom make that cable much longer (!?).

Tomorrow Epic/Scarlet will do it with REDMOTE.

Didn't edit anything but very precisely wrote to activate it remotely.
10 ft cable? are you joking? We were rigging the camera some 30 meter up in the air, controlling it with a Preston.

I am not sure, but can you do that over the GPI port? If so, a 50 foot origo start stop cable might help

Not available through the GPIO port. That's why I wrote a "False Color request" to make it possible remotely in future builds or in future cameras.
