I've been bit by the Facebook bug as well in the past. No explanation, no warning, and no response from their "customer service" department. Always be careful what you put on there, as they own everything.

Their business model seems to be: marketing gains X registered user profils > servercosts and service. I haven't seen a social-network-site that does that, but surprisingly it works as long it's hyped enough. It's like the american housing market. It all comes down sooner or later. Especially if they treat users that way.

Hehe, could be, but I think it's that I sent more than 20 messages a day. Or is it 25? They also seem to delete you if you make too many friends from Afghanistan or other specific countries according all those blog entries of disabled users.

I`m currently getting rid of "crapbook" and all of these so-called social networks. What they mainly do is giving you shitloads of people on the friends list you`ll never talk to except those you had contact to before you were there - and then conversations with those people also start to cripple down to single or double word sentences.
