  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hope that gives you an idea of the quality of Leica R glass. In my opinion, Leica is unmatched in the still world... not even Zeiss with their huge amount of hype look as good.

I can only tell you what we see in them. Better may not be the right word, but we feel they have more of a 3D pop ie the image looks as though it has more depth. The out of focus area (Bokeh) is very pleasing and the lenses are high contrast and well balanced. I realise this isnt a technical aprasal but you will find other threads here which can do better than I can on that.

Zeiss do make good lenses too of course.
 
Little word from Sergio however. I wonder how much he wants and the kind of mount in this.

Zeiss lenses go for "accuracy" and "realism" while Leica's design philosophy is to make the image more "organic" and "romantic", to put it bluntly.
