F/S COOKE MiniS4/i aka Panchro/i
18-25-32-50-75-100 T2.8 METRIC
*** Perfect Condition ***

The Story:
I'm an avid reader of this forum since I shot "Agua y sal" my 2nd feature with R1 in 2009. It was the 2nd. in my lands just after the Oscar winner "El secreto de sus ojos", we used the same camera, shared and define our workflow together. (They used Cookes, we used Zeiss standards :) Differences in image was huge. Ok, ours was a small indie film, was good, made it's way but did not reach it to the Oscars :) , Since there, I'm in love with Cookes.

I have a beatiful set of Cooke Mini S4 aka Panchro/i 18-25-32-50-75-100 T2.8 metric. I have them since dec 2011. They were used in 3 fiction features and a feature tango doc (now in post), in a few commercials also. They are in mint condition. Some with minor signs of use some of them you don't notice if they've been used or not. But off course we plug, play and enjoy them all.
They have a Pelican case, I keep the original boxes, have off course the original 6x shimms, and the new branded Mini S4 metal tape that received but didn't even open.

Next 2 years (who knows not 3) I'm gonna be shooting documentary. More on the Macro and large Telezoom type of work. I'm not going to have opportunity to use them really. So I'm facing about to sell them or to put the set in a rental house. I was more on the side of selling, not because I know all the good guys on the houses around here, more on... Because we need to buy some more urgent gear that we need to face this new challenge. So I'm facing to say them goodby.

I really love them and you that know them, know why. Cooke is Cooke. IMHO: It's the only lens maker that not only tops in Q tests but also makes you describe it's images as wine or jewels. :) And let's not only talk about the image, the gentle gamma curve, the beatifull focus falloff, the creaminess, the gentle warm to the skin tones, the absolute best flare containing, the best CF capacity... When you change focus on a Cooke you see what the absolute best breathing managment is cappable of. There are no other lens maker that can achive that. It's beatifull how the absence of breathing in the edges but only in the center plus the cooke stile focus fallof and the creaminnes working together can make. If you work for large screen, once you shot a subject to subject focus change on a Cooke, you simply can't accept other (including UP's and Leicas, IMO). Yes I'm in love... But have to be strong and make the move

I'm hearing serious offers. So PM first. Then will follow by mail, skype or phone. Direct contact will be a must. No paypal, no credit card. Wired Bank Transfer, Cash, etc. ;)

NOTE:
I think this kind of tools deserves the best destination.
Can make a sort of partial trade for some Leica R glass or Canon 2.8L zooms, or an in good shape and perfect working condition canon 150-600, but not an expensive set. Between 5K and 8K.
Right now I'm in Buenos Aires. For the right number I can carry them myself to Montreal, London, Madrid, Miami, NY, where we can meet and test them in a rental house at demand. Also If you want to come to the beautifull Buenos Aires or ask me to shipp them at your charge I'm open to hear your offer.
I have many Pics that will share to intrested ones.

More Pics. Focussing on rear and front elements, and the minimum signs of proper use.

Thanks Christopher. Lovely images. I know you love Minis and many times have read your posts 'cause we use to search around the same threads.

Have to mention that Cooke Mini S4 have been recently used also in many 2d and 3d big screen films like "Hugo Cabret", "A Good Day To Die Hard", "To Rome With Love", "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close", "Midnight in Paris", "My Week With Marilyn", "Harry Potter" and many TV series such as Game of Thrones, The Borgias, Downtown Abbey, Upstairs Downstairs, Grey's Anatomy, Entourage, etc.
