Howdy.
Just Finished a shoot last night and I am currently working on transcoding and setting up our post workflow. The client has requested some shots of a specific set up to edit in house, - But those shots were shot to the same drive as everything else.
My question is this - can I extract certain shots from the .RDM folder?
For instance, Duplicate the entire folder and delete the shots that they don't need?
I know folder structure is of utmost importance, I just don't know if ALL the shots have to be there.
The reason I am asking is because I would like to avoid giving the client EVERYTHING.

Then again, they probably wont know what to do with the raw footage anyways so maybe ProRes Transcodes is the best bet.
Any advice would be fantastic!
Thanks!

Drop whole folder into Clipfinder. Select the shots you want. Copy. Go to Finder and navigate to a Firewire drive you are going to give to client. Paste. Done.

Probably best to put a copy of REDcineX on the drive too. But yes, ProRes transcodes is the other option.
