Hello! I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for TB/TB2/USB3.0 docking stations? Preferably one that can clone easily, but I'm open to single toasters if you've found one or the other to be better.

I was looking at:
Unitek Cloning Station (USB 3.0) - inexpensive, decent read/write
Akito Thunder2 Quad-Bay Enclosure - fast read/write, expensive
RocketStor Dual-Bay Thunderbolt Station - middle ground
I have far too many portables on my desk right now, and want to start throwing all the files on them onto external drives that I can closet and revisit at a later time. Ideally, then, I can travel with a few portables and not have to stress anymore about one failing!

I just have a few of these

i also have an akitio for 2.5 RAID ssd, which i'm really enjoying.. just depends on the exact config you need. but the sabrent stacks really well, and for 3.5 drives it's easy enough to have 2, i like those better than toaster style, mainly because for smaller projects i can just keep the drive inside. my setup is 2 of those for mirrors w/ 4-6TB each, and the akitio has 4x 1TB SSD.
