Hi,
I have a project coming up where I'm shooting some product against a white background. On film I've had good results by lighting the white maybe half a stop hotter than the people or things in front of it. That made for a nice smooth white with any imperfections in the cyc burned out.
With the Red, my instinct is to (viewing RAW) expose the cyc to just under clipping. But I'm very interested to hear what other people may have done in this situation.
Thanks!
