Hi Everyone,
I wanted to see what settings you have found to be the best codec for exporting to Vimeo on a PC. I often notice my contrast/saturation is a bit different after it is uploaded to Vimeo. I did a search and found a lot of workflow for Mac users, mostly people use ProRes LT, but we don't have that option on PC, so someone recommended Cineform, but Vimeo doesn't seem to allow that codec (invalid file type/codec error).
I mostly export from Adobe's Media Encoder, and use the "1080 HD Vimeo h.264" preset, but the results seem to lack the aforementioned contrast/saturation shift. I have tried DNxHD and Cineform codecs, but Vimeo always gives me an invalid file/codec error. Does anyone have a good exporting workflow option they use from Premiere/Media Encoder on a PC?
