Hi, I am wanting to export tiffs at highest quality possible. I am using RedCine for my exports. Is it possible to get better quality exports further down the workflow line? The reason I ask is that I am only using stills so if can produce them with Redcine or RedAlert and avoid going further with Final Cut etc I will.

Thanks, Sam

If you select 16bit TIFFs and keep the histogram nestled to the right but not over (if you want to edit them further in something like Photoshop), you will be exporting the best possible quality (barring debayer upgrades in new versions of RedCine etc down the track).

Today you can use RedAlert with that new colour science already embedded and export a 4K TIFF so I'd pick that one for now.

That's fantastic. Thanks Paul, appreciate the info.
