Exporting EDL from Color

Hello everyone,
I'm finishing grading feature in Color which we are printing on 35mm, I am going to render whole reels in dpx. after rendering I tried to export edl from color for the company thats going to do the print, and every time I do this color freezes and does not respond. how should the printing company get the correct timeline that I export from color, cause color puts every cut in separate folders, I might later want to open the same timeline for example in after effects, how can I do this? maybe somebody can relink me to some article or thread that already talks about this.

I'm having the same problem. I rendered all my footage to 2K DPX files, and the VFX lab needs the EDL. I try to export the EDL from Color and I get the beach ball of death and have to force quit. Can someone please advise me?

Can anyone please help with this? How do I export an EDL from Color without it crashing? I edited using the _M proxies.

Am I the only one experiencing this problem? I forgot to mention that the timeline is a mix of 4K and 3K footage.
