exporting AE to Apple Color: Which Codec

Ideally we would use R3Ds in Apple color.

We need to reframe our 4k 16:9 footage first in After Effects to grade in Color at 2k 1:2.40 . Should we output from AE as DPXs and what settings should we use?

Is Prores 444 a better option?

I often export ProRes4444 from AE to Color and it works great.

DPX is much better if you're delivering for film.
