Trying to convert R3Ds from RCXPro.
The export option would stop exporting at first frame when trying to use a Sonnet Tempo SSD Pro PCI card holding two SSD drives.
I keep thinking drive perms but went through that a few too many times and still no go.
For now using the Avid export flave I use the desktop but I keep getting these weird folders with characters unknown on the folder itself.
The export works on the desktop but not on that Tempo PCI card.

I'm going to need some more info from you to see what error is happening when trying to write to the card. Below are the steps to get me the information I need.

1. Enable verbose logging in the preferences dialog.
2. re-create the issue.
3. save a report from the RCX help menu
4. send the report to me at REDCINEX at RED dot COM

I have a few issues going with Avid, RCXPro, Apple Retina and Sonnet gear.
For this thread I will stay within the RCXPro side of the fence.
After redoing everything (installing software and such) from scratch, I tried to export an Avid AAF/MXF clip from RCXPro again.
It still wont let me export to the Tempo SSD Pro PCI card with an SSD as volume.
I think I might have figured it out.
I exported a QT Avid 1:1 MXF and it worked on that problem drive.
The problem drive currently and Avid Media drive.
To fix my issue, I exported to a folder within the drive as opposed to the top root of drive.
I guess the AAF was getting confused with the Avid MediaFiles folder in the top root of that drive.

All is well for now...

Thanks Matthew, Ill get on that asap.
Now if I can only get Avid MC to startup without issues (PACE and dongle issues).

Matthew I found that using "Output with Clip Filename to Clip Folder" removes the "Error processing image for frame 0" error.
However I dont know where RCXPro is saving my files.
Double-clicking on the Export line item takes me to an ALE file in the original REDMAG?
I will try the steps you supplied now.

It sounds like it didn't do the export due to the error. The ALE file is where I'd expect it for that option... "Clip folder" is the folder the source clip is in.

Sent you an email :)

Thanks Matthew from RED support for your help :)
