Hello,
I have several R3D clips, which I want to combine (export) using R3D trim.
I that possible? I put all clips in the timeline and what ever I do, it always exports the clips individual. (select them all, set in and outpoint) Nothing helps.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Dorian

Assume you've already tried selecting "Timeline (all clips)" for your Export Preset?

yes, sure.... I tried : Timeline selected clips and also Timeline all clips... the same..

transcode to lets say Pro Res... any way to turn them back to R3D?
when I was searching, I read something like do some corrections export as XML and bring the clip back to RCX.
Would that not work?
or not even transcode.
How about bring all R3D clips into PP and export them as a whole and bring it into RCX asnd export as R3D trim?

Hi Dorian,

It's not possible to stitch together .R3D's from different clips into one, for various reasons.
But no workflow should necessitate this -- may I ask why you might want such functionality?

Thanks,
David

Hi David,
the reason, there are fire work clips with lots of blacks in between which I simply want to cut out.
Why to R3D? There are agencies which offer R3D footage to download to let the client do the grading rather then me doing it.

I see. Yeah you're out of luck I'm afraid in this case.
