export from fcp to ds help me

HI, Im trying to export aaf file from fcp to import in my ds, i have tried whit automatic duck but does't work.

those are the steps that I used:

A) off line edit on fcp whit qt proxies
B) esport an aaf file
C) import to my ds nitris
D) recapture the material " in this step the ds recogniza the material from r3d but dont import and nothing happen en dont show any error"

any body can help whit this.....

Hi Rafael,

Amend your workflow thus:

B2. Open the PEFCP AAF in MC and then export an AFE of the resultant sequence.
C. Import the AFE in your DS v10.1.1
D. Link to the .r3D files

Step B2 is to 'clean' the AAF of anything the DS doesn't understand and might not be essential - I've conformed PEFCP AAFs with no problem.

For steps C & D you need to read the 10.1.1 Red Workflow documentation - there are many options.

Perhaps Michael Forrest will have the time to jump in here with some more specifics as he did this very same workflow a couple of days agowith 100% success.

Rafael, can you successfully pull in .R3D files through the regular import process? I'm just wondering if you have an issue with your DS install? The way Tone describes the process is exactly the way to do it. Have you tried linking rather than capturing?

To link the files in DS, make sure to check the "create clips from linked files". Also, try selecting your bin before you "Configure Alternate Sources". Once you scan your folders, do you see the Red settings dialogues? If we can at least get the linking happening, then we can work on capturing instead.

I have tryed all things but doen's work, any body knows how to capture a video from my windows and upload to every body see the problem and then find a solution.....
