I recently programmed the user keys on my SSD side module, 5" LCD and redmote. Fairly straightforward... except I can't seem to find anything describing the purpose of each "key action". Page 112 of the Scarlet X Operation guide lists them all... but doesn't explain their function in detail. Most are fairly obvious, but some left me scratching my head. Any tips... or is something that requires a bit of trial and error?

can you be more specific about which keys?

• Record half press
This is not the best name - it comes from the fact that it is the default action associated with half-pressing the record (shutter) button. Right now it starts the AF routine (if AF is enabled)

• Toggle ND Filter• Toggle Lens Ring Mode
These are vestiges of the 2/3rds Scarlets and ought to be removed

• Toggle SH backlight
Toggles the sidehandle (SH) backlight

• Set focus mode for still• Set focus mode for movie
In 2.0.x there is no real stills mode. However, the Still/Movie switch does allow you to set different AF modes for "Still" or "Movie" mode. These actions switch to those respective modes.

• Toggle Shutter Mode
Toggles the shutter mode (show integration time or shutter angle)

• Focus to MOD speed 1
• Focus to MOD speed 2
• Focus to MOD speed 3
• Focus to MOD speed 4
These don't actually do anything at the moment
