  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Experience with ordering at CameraAccess.com?

Slick website...but no telephone number that I could find other than a fax number. I think that is ok for selling inexpensive accessories, but not for very expensive professional products. I would want to be able to talk to a real person. Just my take.

I am just about to order a LFF-1 from CameraAccess too. I emailed some questions and actually got a response from the CEO, Paul. I believe Paul used to work with or for Arri. They seem legit.

Thanks for the offer, I've had a chat with him already as well. It was just that he had a few spelling mistakes in his E-Mail, but seemed to know the stuff quite well. I'll probably give ARRI a call tomorrow and check if he's an authorized reseller before dumping 2000 quid there.
 
I'd like to know too as we've already started our "RED shopping list" and here in Canada prices are higher

Paul at Cameraaccess is a top notch guy, he called me from the UK today to guide me through the ordering process step by step as I had smaller problems.

And at the moment it's the cheapest possibility to get Arri Accessories or Lenses since the pound is so low.

I just put together a set of Ultra Primes, just for fun, 20, 28, 40, 65, 85, 135

and it would be around 40K GBP

Doesn't sound too bad for me? :)

PS: I just bought a FF4.
It's just around 2200 USD for the base unit, which is a bargain in my eyes.

I just saw this thread and I second all positive feedback on Camera Access. Paul is a truly genuine guy and they are rock solid on prices, service and performance. There are no other deals like them to my knowledge on any Arri gear and they are very good at email inquiries and phonecalls.

I got my MB20 and FF4 along with numerous accessories from them and it comes cheap, quick and happy!

and THEY DO TIFFEN FILTERS NOW TOO! :wink:
