I have heard that the bartech wireless ff's can be finickey with power from the red - does anyone have experience with this? Does powering the Bartech from the powertap on the battery plate with a custom cable resolve the issue?

Anything else I should be aware of before using in production?

Thanks in advance.

I would ONLY power it from the DTAP on the battery plate!

The standard M motor for the Bartech pulls way to much amperage on fast throws for the Red to pass through it's AKS ports.

p.s. the Bartech kicks ass! and Jim Bartell gives customer service second to none.

I think the max draw is 3A, at full torque.
You definitely need to go out the powertap.

EDIT:Too late :-(

yes..d-tap only way to go. (don't make fun of my gaff taped rig hehe)
