O Mighty Dragon, let my pixels go! Heh, very impressive trailer. Can't wait for Dariusz Wolski's commentary and / or interview in AC magazine. Huge respect. Yeah, I noticed the oversharpened first shot, ringing too. Probably just a reel messed up in post by the trailer editors or something.

It looks like a lot of the shots have been digitally slowed in post for the trailer, which causes the bad video motion blur everywhere. Knowing Wolski's work on Prometheus and The Counselor, I'm sure this movie will look technically amazing.

Oh well, Directors are allowed to change there mind about framing. And Im sure in the gran scheme of things, not ones really going to notice as 2 hours of it unfolds.

I reframe all the time, but some of these feels like they took a master and reframed it to a close up... like 500% and then sharpen the hell out of it :tongue_smilie:

On Christian's forehead and cheek. Maybe it's just pushed a bit too far in grading.
But as I said, all other shots look good.

Can be hard to judge a movie's grade or cinematography from a trailer, as trailer houses often work from ungraded dallies, and may even supervise their own finish.
