After my most recent Scarlet-W rental, the DP alerted me my back focus was just a hair off. Instead of adjusting myself, I checked the calendar to see that it'd been 2 years since purchasing my scarlet-w and thought it'd be nice to send the camera into RED for a general inspection and evaluation. I was nervous about the turn around time but was able to find a window in my schedule to fit it in.
Big props to Andrew and Peter at the RED store in NYC for taking in the camera and shipping it to California at NO COST TO ME.
Big props to Chelsea and Jazmyn on the RED Support Page for handling the evaluation and back-focus fine tuning.
Big props to RED for such a quick turn around time.
For a super cheap price of $100 they adjusted the back focus, delicately removed the nicks on my OLPF and sent me back my camera in no time at all, with the latest firmware installed. Another $20 bucks had my camera safely shipped back AND in a brand new RED DSMC2 brain crate too.
Just a very happy customer showing his appreciation for the excellent customer service. Glad to have gotten into the RED ecosystem when RAVEN launched, and still a joy to use the Scarlet-W on all my projects.
