omg this evf is fing amazing. Anyone who hates low RES evf displays will love this red unit!!

Yeah, i usually just prefer a crt viewfinder over an lcd one, but when I saw the RED evf, i couldn't stop looking at it. I even showed it to an ASC guy, and he just couldn't stop repeating "wow" over and over for about 10 minutes.

Glad to hear Obin, seems like they are catching up on those things, you have any idea (roughly) how many are going out a month?

i believe about 200 per was what they were shooting for. not sure if they have hit it.

Obin is 610 so if 710 or 810 announce they have theres.....

#813 got their email... I sense that my #1110 isn't too far off. Brent, Jon, any chance I could get it in time for shooting some fireworks?

its so insanly high RES you would think your looking at a real image.
It exceeds your eye ability to see pixels I never ever thought it could be
that good. Wow. So good its like an optical viewfinder.. I really expected to see small pixels in the unit, maybe like a high resolution LCD screen. This far surpasses that. I am guessing its a dlp chip. Its not oled as I had hoped but who cares its just plain amazing.

you guys call it jello (& ice-cream) right!....dunno what's wrong about that!

just kidding, but I have never heard of jello and ice cream. Jello and whip cream maybe.

Do Aussie call jello, jelly? hehheh

Jeff, I don't know if by fireworks, but as you guys can see - we are shipping EVFs at a pretty solid pace now. And, as you all know who have had EVFs for awhile, we tend to have EVF image improvements with each firmware build for the RED ONE, so if you think you like the EVF on Build 15...hehehe.

I got my EVF last week, It's great. Also the Element Technica EVF bracket is very well designed and makes using it a pleasure. ( Camera #513 )
