EVF not selected

My EVF has white vertical bars flashing across the image and says EVF not selected. This will happen all of the sudden when the camera is not even being touched. With or without the lcd attached. A restart will fix it for a minute but then it shows back up. I have used two different cables with the same result. They are plugged in all the way. I have had this issue in Build 15 as well a couple of times.

Sounds like we might need to check that EVF out at RED, deadmike. Have you sent a support ticket thru RED.com?

I have the "EVF not selected" alert for a few seconds during the boot cycle.
But no problem using the EVF after that. (Except one dead pixel in the EVF).

You might also try plugging the EVF in with a different cable (like the LCD) because the cable could be bad.

I've tried the lcd cable as well. I'm pretty much stuck with the lcd for now because it happens every few minutes on the EVF. Sometimes it dissappears on its on, but then comes back a few minutes later. I guess I should've posted somewhere else because this happened a couple time in b15, but happens much more often now, especially when I attempt to adjust the Dark Detail.

I thought it might be hot weather related too, because its getting close to 110 degrees where I'm at, but it happened just as much in an air conditioned room as well.

Other than this issue though, I'm very happy with the footage I've got so far on Build 16. The lcd image looks much better now, but I can't wait for the flicker to disappear.
