EVF image is RED

Has anyone run into any issues with their EVF image turning red?

I am familiar with the temperature related banding/color shifts on the EVF, but this seems unique to that problem. The image turns a "psychedelic" Red/pink.

Running Build 17 (tried re-install), in a controlled environment. Tried swapping cables, and camera bodies.

Any suggestions?

If I had to venture a guess I'm thinking bad EVF unit but maybe someone else who's seen this before will chime in.

That is what I am fearful of, however, if the EVF went back to normal--could that indicate anything else?

I've attached a few photos below for reference of the problem if anyone has seen something similar.

Yeah that looks like a broken connection somewhere. Even if it did go back to normal it's unreliable now. Send in for repair...
