  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EVF Guard?? Help find...

That piece of awesomeness is designed/manufactured and NOT SOLD by Keslow Camera in LA. (Great camera house)

If anyone out there can make a similar guard, I have up to $400 waiting for you. Machined and coated (anodized, cant spell).

Someone should be producing something similar...

The team at Keslow has a lot of great ideas when it comes to configuring cameras for professional use.
Of course we love the fact that their RED Ones are loaded up with everything we make.

We are working with Keslow to produce an EVF guard based on the one in the photo.

Please make sure it doesn't interfere with ease of operation of the rotary wheel - Keslow's looks a bit like it may make turning the wheel more difficult.

Of course this should have been a design feature of the the EVF already - oh well...

Great stuff! Now hope it's not expensive!

Mark, wasn't talking about the Hoodman. Thank you though for doing the search.

Dave, extra protection. But from what I've heard since posting, it's not necessary.

HA.
I had made one out of half a paper towel roll covered with matte black paper tape.
But if ET made one, I would buy it.
Cheers,
Harry

As we speak they are in the CNC machine as I'm told by the Element staff.
