  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

ET Handheld Rig

So is there way to use it with the RED base plate? Otherwise you'd need to buy the ET bottom plate and dovetail also (around $1500) So unless you can use it it will run $3000-3500 to do a handheld rig.

Oops I should have said "Industry Standard" the Red dovetail system is similar in design to Arri's but functionally incompatible. You will not regret buying any of ET's products.

I know I won't regret it (I already own some of ET's stuff), but that doesn't make it hurt any less! Maybe I can sell the bottom part of my RED rig to help pay for the ET stuff. Of course, I don't know how much handheld work there is needed around here. Most of the stuff they would use the RED for here would be on either a Fisher, Jib, or Stedicam.

It also helps that all this gear should translate to the Epic with no problems.
