Just wondering if anyone has heard any kind of price or ETA on these.

I heard the prototype of the hand held was really cool and "Just needs to be Anodized" I was going to go to their shop and take a peek this week, maybe Stephen will be OK if I shoot a few pictures ...

Not sure about the cheese stick -

How about 15mm Universal Mounts? Are they available and for how much?

That's what I'm most interested in...

Thanks!

No handheld and no 15mm universal mount. The handheld unit sounded awesome, although expensive. When I say it sounded expensive I mean just because of all of the adjustable features. I wasn't told any numbers. The handheld unit should be ready very soon, the 15mm universal mount still has some development time.

The cheese stick was there and looks just like the photos on Reduser. It's pretty simple. The drive cradle was at cinegear and it looked great although Steven said it was going to go through one more revision before it was finished. Basically the cradle attaches to a special rod mount via a wedge plate similar to a V-mount battery. Get one cage, as I'll call it, for each drive and you simply lock it onto the mount, connect the cable and you're ready to go. The cage also has a shock mount and steven said it was tested on a car mount and vigorous handheld with no dropped frames. He says that they will also make an even lower profile unit minus the shock mounts for the Red Flash Drive.

Thanks for the update.

Photos and price estimate of the ET drive cage would be greatly appreciated.

You'll have to get those from someone else. I aint got em. They weren't talking about prices when i was at the booth.

Element Technica Shock Isolated RED Drive Mount

Element Technica Shock Isolated RED Drive Mount

Thanks to everyone who braved the heat and made it out Cinegear. We were excited to show our new drive mount and EVF extension. We pulled our hand held kit a few days before the show when we came up with a significant improvement. The changes will only add a week to the production schedule and are well worth the wait.

Here are a few shots of the drive mount. Not all of the production parts were ready in time so there are a few prototype parts in the pictured unit. The production version will be a bit more refined.

We are working to get images and information on all of our new products up on the web site.

Stay tuned.

I currently have an earlier prototype model of the ET drive mount and it has worked flawlessly. It is really impressive how much further ET has taken the drive mount with the newer model shown here. Stephen and Hectors comitment to building the most functional, best designed products possible over just getting out product is a rare trait to find in companies.

Might consider putting a safety wire on that shock mount in case of failure of one or both of those isolators.

I am really interested in the ET drive holder, but I need to know what is the estimate price for it. I am getting ready to buy a RED CRADLE, but once I find out how much the ET item is, I may decide to wait a bit and get theirs.

Any hint?

Thanks!

I'm also interested in the ET pricing for the ET drive mount.

The pricing for all of our new products will be inline with what we've done before. We are working out the details right now and will publish it on the website in the next week.

Thanks for your patience.

Any update on the price?

Is it more in line with your $20 rods or the $1190 EVF mount?

That's what I was thinking. I really love this ET thing but I've been able to use rubber bands and foam to mount my raid to rods. It's as light weight as possible, strong and no dropped frames. Sometimes simpler is fine. But I do have the ET EVF mount and their rods.
