ET Base Plate and ET Mantis for Epic - Can i use it ?

Good day . I am complicating my EPIC now , and found that i need to buy quick release solution form RED . I sow a demo on red.com , i like this toys , but i don not want to spend money at this moment , i want to use my ET Base Plate and ET Mantis . Sow what is solution i need to go .
Is is possible to use ET base plate on EPIC ?

ET Hybrid baseplate and Epic

ET Hybrid baseplate and Epic

The original ET Hybrid bridge baseplate doesn't fit onto the bottom of the Epic - they make a shim plate - http://elementtechnica.mybigcommerce.com/products/Hybrid-EPIC-Shim-Plate.html
Apparently this fits to the bottom of the camera and the baseplate then screws into it. I contacted ET and they sent me the attached pics.
