Anyone (Lucas?) know if there is an under-the-hood way of arbitrarily estimating render times on Redcine (PC version in particular) for generating qt's and the like, without setting off a whole mass of clips?
I'm rendering (as reference) several days of recording sessions where I'm having to zoom in the image as well as reframe slightly....., and stuffing round changing settings (sharpening on/off, process type, etc etc), rendering and waiting for an estimate to appear.... is wasting a lot of time up front.
Would be great if there was a way that if you do a "test" render, then start swapping settings, it might give an "expected estimate" based on the changed settings...
most useable tool I've found so far is hit Ctrl-F1 to get the playback speed in fps up...
Note I've already matched the playback view to get seemingly best render times I can figure....
anyone got any bright ideas???
cheers
