  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I thought it said AL but I could be wrong. Doesn't matter, my point is that they have a steady stream of Brains in general going out and theres no reason that the wait time for later orders should increase to a total of 5, 6, 7 months. That just doesn't seem logical with how things are going and where they are said to be heading in regards to manufacturing.

I agree with the amount of orders, but it's been 2 and a half months and they're still shipping day one orders. Until they get through those initial orders, we have no way of guessing and if you want to keep yourself sane, you'd overestimate the wait or else you'll just end up disappointed.

I wish I knew somebody. Nope, just allocated today. PL package ordered January 5th, at 5:50 PM PST.

Everything shipping except the Side Handle, Redmote, and the Ti Canon mount.

I have my LCD and Red Station, too. Seems they're delivering items as they become available unless you otherwise specify. Doesn't mean anything for the body.
 
I ordered the PL Mount Scarlet on Dec. 29th and got an email today saying:

Congratulations, you have one or more SCARLET-X w Ti PL Mount / Side SSD camera(s) that are nearly ready to ship. We estimate we will have your SCARLET-X w Ti PL Mount / Side SSD camera(s) allocated to you within the next 5-7 business days.

So if all goes well, I should have mine in the next couple weeks!

I ordered my Scarlet-X AI mount on the Dec 27th and REDMAG (4 pack) with REDMOTE on the Jan 10th.. The full payment for my scarlet-x package has been made to my RED account on the 10th February 2012. The rest of my package has been shipped on the 14th except 1x DSMC Side Handle, 1x REDMOTE and 1x Scarlet-X Al Cannon Mount / Side SSD. Now waiting for it to arrive to Malaysia except the backordered items.

I know RED has a RED Europe for all the European orders. Would you happen to know if your equipment is being sent out from a 'RED Asia'?
 
i ordered mine on 31/12/2011 and still wating. RED UK told me package will be sent within the next 3 month. So hope end of march/ april will be my scarlet-x-mas ;) Ps.: AL Canon Package...

When i track the shipment from FedEx, the origin location was from IRVINE,CA. So i guess the package came straight from their warehouse. Hope that helps !
 
Ordred mine (Ti Canon mount) minutes after it went online on the 3rd (SO-1251) - got shipping notification for the brain today. Most of the accessories has been with me since December, save for LCD - which arrived about a week ago, the REDMOTE - should arrive day before the brain, and the DSMC SIDE HANDLE - which is still MIA...
 
Ordered a Canon-AL pkg on Dec 19th here in the US, received everything but the side handle and Scarlet body a couple days ago. No word on body delivery, but my rep said "production has ramped up significantly" so we'll see (fingers crossed we all get our Scarlets soon:)
