error -36

just that, im getting the error -36.

i all ready re use de redmag.

i have this folders:

roll 105 / A105_1001S9.RDM / A105_C003_1001TB.RDC and there is the file that i have the problem:

A105_C003_1001TB_004

got it twice on roll 105 and roll 106.

runing Osx 10.6.8
my reel asre on LAcie 2big quadra 4TB

eny idea?

Are you talking about copying an R3D to this drive or transcoding to prores/Avid?

Sounds like the drive isn't formatted for Mac, in which case the maximum file size is 2GB.

This means R3Ds will be fine, as they are segmented, but if you transcode to prores/Avid then you will get error -36 when your file reaches 2GB.

Can be a bit confusing but hope this helps.

Mac -36 errors are I/O errors. it could be a multitude of issues.

you should check all cabling, computers, drives and mags to verify what is working and what is not.
