Hi all, finally getting to shoot some test shots with my RAPTOR that arrived last week, and had this error appear.

Restarting the camera returned things to normal, but I’m curious as to what this issue might be.

For reference, I was running the RED 98Wh microV battery, RED 2TB card, and a Canon 100-400mm II lens on the regular RF to RF adaptor. Running firmware 1.3.3 beta.

I wouldn't look so much about the battery or lens etc but as you mentioned the firmware.
Id roll it back to the previous version...1.2.7 I think?? not sure...youll see when you download from Red.com
Also there is a thread about upgrading your SmallHD monitor and how you might need to upgrade it separately and up to a firmware that matched the current camera firmware. Maybe someone can jump in here but I think the firmware for the monitor comes from SmalHD? https://downloads.smallhd.com/firmware/red-touch

Sorry Im not being much help but from what I see on your screen it might be that the firmware on the monitor is different from the camera and it might be playing havoc with your error message there.
Good luck.

Appreciate the suggestions mate!

First thing I did was update the firmware on the monitor to the latest v5 so that it would be ready for the v1.3.3 beta. Yes v1.2.7 is the last "stable" firmware, will see if I get the error again and if so might try rolling back. Was keen on a lot of the extra features of the latest betas hence updating. My cam was delivered with v1.2.6.

I'm suspicious of the lens as I had it wig out and not let me change aperture at one point, had to reboot the camera.

Will keep this post updated if I get the error again and if I can track it down to something in particular.
