"ER" goes RED

Dont know who remembers the ER that was shot "live" with HDCAMS, It was shot at 1080 60i...or was it Chicago hope? Those Chicago based Hospital shows with ensemble cast all blend together

I believe ER did do a live show, a one time occurrence. Chicago Hope did an episode that did originate on HDCam, although it was not done live. It was also the first network HD broadcast, although very few homes could receive it at the time. I watched it at a viewing party set up by CBS and Sony at Television City (the East Coast feed was shown).

Current shows are and have been (for 14 years) shot on Panavision 35mm cameras.
