  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My Epic-W barely records audio. I moved the gain all the way up, but it still records only the sound of the shutter (if I have it). Nothing else. A person talking 6 ft from camera is completely mute.
Is it normal?
 
no it is not normal, update your firmware first, then make sure all levels are set properly, next week since I have no editing to do I am going to do an in depth test on my alternate youtube of the internal mics.

you can get proper levels of the internal mics but they do need to be basically set all the way up
