Hi this was an experimental film shot in a warehouse with a dancer named Alice Godfrey, I had done an article about it previously "Humbled by an Epic"

Obviously shot on an Epic, there was very little light, 2 dumbed down 2K's, mainly shot hand held and was done in the early days when I was still experimenting with the camera... Alice was a real star, she repeated takes, danced her heart out and made the film.

Shot this on the old Zeiss Super Speeds, (like really old and extremely tired)...

But fun was had by all...

I think a lot of it was 75, sometimes 96 (I think... Can check)...

Really impressed with how well this camera handles with limited lighting. I wasn't involved in the shoot, but I witnessed the transformation from raw R3D files (pardon the pun) through the cut and finish and how clean the images were pre-post. I've shot my own projects on Red One MX, Alexa and EPIC (thanks to Jac) over the past year and for me EPIC R3D or 35mm neg with a high res scan are the only two acquisition mediums I would choose from depending on the job. Awesome stuff.

Beautiful pictures absolutely beautiful!
