Hello all.
Perhaps I overlooked information, but I was curious as to any specific reference to the EPIC-X S35 and using anamorphic lenses.
I have a feature project prepping for a Fall/Winter schedule, and I am exploring the use of anamorphic lenses, (Hawk's, JDC Xtal Xpress, Elites, Todd AO etc, -testing will decide) I am excited to possibly be using the EPIC
on this job.
I've got a couple of low serial # Stage 2 vendors, so it may actually happen...and of course if shipping schedules change there is always the Red 1 with M-X sensor.
Specific questions... Will the viewing system in Epic unsqueeze a 2X anamorphic image?
Is there a specific project setting (like in the current R1 firmware) that has a 4K (5K?) anamorphic option?
Does the current version of Redcine-X have an anamorphic toolset?
Please forgive me if these questions have already been answered, I'd spend the day searching the forum, but its my son's 4th birthday party today, and
it is going to be verrrrrrrrry busy around here shortly.
Thanks in advance
