I recently updated our Epic-X to the latest firmware and also the accompanying Redmote.

Until now both had been operating on the firmware that they shipped with two years previous so I thought it about time to embrace the future.

I'm not sure what exact firmware versions they were previously running, but whatever they were, the connection between redmote and camera had always been very stable. I had never known it to drop out once. We regularly fly the epic on a gimbal stabilizer so make use of the Redmote often.

Since installing the latest firmware the redmote has become practically unusable, it drops out every few minutes sometimes fully, sometimes partially. on some occasions it will rescan and reconnect fine on other occasions it takes several attempts.

I've seen several relatively old threads about this problem, but nothing recently. Is there a fix for this that I haven't spotted in the older threads? Or are we stuck with a useless redmote?

Cheers
