EPIC-X or EPIX-M

Hello from France,

I m a very new member of this forum, I would ask a specific and technic questions about the red EPIC cameras.
What does the letter X or M refair to ? What the difference between the RED EPIC-X Mysterium X and the RED EPIC-M Mysterium X ?

Welcome to the forum.You can do lots of searches within the forum - but also try searching via Google, it'll be more helpful But, the Epic-X is a production line machine and the Epic-M are hand machined (hence the 'M').

Just type this into Google - site:www.reduser.net difference between epic-x and epic-m

I always use Google when trying to find something on Reduser - the search engine on here isn't very successful in my experience.

Longer 2 year guarantee & you get Dragon before the X's, so potentially well worth paying extra for.

First Epic-M had another cooling path that did not made possible to have the fan speed set to lower than 35%. Epic-X had the new hardware installed in them because the appeared months after the Epic-M launch. Now there was an upgrade path for all Epic-M owner but some (well known) renting facilities didn't do the upgrade because it could have make them have a down time with their Epic. So check it out you recieve a upgraded Epic-M camera.
