  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Epic-X 125 available for rent in Los Angeles

Installed the new antenna for the redmote. Now it easily works up to 50 feet or so. Maybe a little more.
 
When did the redmote get a new antenna?

It's not actually in the redmote, it's in the camera body. The antenna upgrade came out a few months ago.
 
is there a way to check if i have the upgrade or original? Got my epic in April 2012
 
Well the easiest way to check is to go about 40 feet away from your camera. If the redmote connects then you got the upgraded antenna. :)

Or you could take off the antenna cover on the camera body. The old antenna is attached to a flat red piece of plastic and I think the new one is off-white - but I'm not sure, can't remember exactly. Or I guess you could contact your BS rep and ask.

I now have a set of Zeiss Contax lenses available for rent in LA with or without the Epic.

Just got them cine-modded by Duclos (declicked, cine focus gear added) with 80mm fronts. All are MM versions so no ninja star bokeh.

Set includes:

35mm T* f1.4
50mm T* f1.4
85mm T* f1.4
100mm T* f2
