Epic-W w/ IO Expander PTAP Power Issues

Hey guys,

Searched the forums a little and couldn't find an answer for my specific issue. I'm trying to power just a teradek and bartech off the IO PTAP and am receiving this error message. Is this really too much draw even though our V mount PTAP works just fine or do I have a faulty unit?

I think it could be too much if the motor needs high torque or in sudden and quick inversion of direction...which lens set are you using?

Are the lenses quite stiff?

I think it is, I was getting this exact same message a couple of weeks ago using an older bartech and a teradek. Plugging it into the V-mount and powering the teradek through the IO Ptap solved the problem all day long.
